SJ-R.com’s “City Talk Blog” is meant to foster a robust dialogue on issues important to the Springfield area.To post messages on this blog, you must provide a name and e-mail address. Posting messages may allow others to contact you by e-mail.

In order to preserve a friendly environment for all visitors and as a condition to participate and post messages, we ask that you follow the following basic guidelines:

Do not post content that violates the copyright, trademark, patent or intellectual property rights of others. Do not post threatening, abusive, libelous, defamatory, obscene, vulgar, pornographic, profane or indecent information of any kind.

Use common sense and good judgment when posting messages. Avoid posting hurtful or derogatory comments about other posters.

Though we may attempt to keep objectionable material off our forums, we do not moderate and cannot review every message posted. We are not responsible for the content of messages. However, we reserve the right to delete messages that we deem (in our sole judgment) to be inappropriate or unacceptable for any reason.

We do not and cannot control who reads postings. Therefore, we recommend that you do not post telephone numbers, addresses or other personal information about yourself or others.

Posting privileges may be revoked for violations of forum decorum, including creating a user name or posting messages which falsely suggest you are someone else, such as a local prominent person, posting false “news,” or creating multiple user names.
